Resilient Shield (RS) takes a service-oriented approach as a public health intelligence and infectious disease modeling support center. They aim to integrate modeling tools in public health decision-making, providing the right data, the right tools, answering the right questions for the right people, and communicating clearly at the right time to protect people and save lives. They partner with the County of San Diego to enhance vaccination responses and are working on forecasting and simulations for respiratory illnesses, TB, and dengue.
