Center for Outbreak and Response Innovation
CORI develops and implements outbreak analytic solutions for the CDC, state and local health departments, and other decision-makers. Their mission is to improve the speed, accuracy, and use of data and analytics during public health emergencies. CORI refines outbreak analytics and tools, supports public health outbreak response capabilities, partners with health departments, and develops training in outbreak analytics, modeling, and forecasting. They have worked with the American Meteorological Society to use local TV weather broadcasts for public communication on seasonal respiratory virus activity and forecasts.
