CIDMATH’s new agent-based simulator, built with the center’s computer science team, models how an outbreak signal makes its way into a city’s wastewater. It pulls together human mobility, social contact, disease transmission, toilet-use behavior, and pathogen shedding into one picture. The name is a joke; the science is not.
