The Epistorm-Mix dataset and accompanying technical report are now publicly available.
Epistorm-Mix is the first post-pandemic, probability-based survey of social contacts across all ages in the U.S. It provides privacy-preserving contact-level data and population-level contact matrices stratified by age and setting (home, work, school, community).
These data are designed to help researchers and public health partners:
- Capture how people are mixing in today’s post-COVID environment
- Incorporate heterogeneity in infection risk into epidemic models and forecasts
- Test targeted intervention strategies in silico to support seasonal preparedness and pandemic planning
