Forecasting and Surveillance of Infectious Threats and Epidemics
ForeSITE works closely with local and state public health departments and health systems in the Intermountain West, and the national VA health system, to develop tools and models for decision-making tailored to the local context. They focus on automated alerting, parameter estimation, scenario modeling, forecasting, and economic impact. They have partnered with the Utah Department of Health and Human Services (UDHHS) to provide projections of future syphilis cases.
